Designing a tablet application integrating augmented reality

The Plafond Designer project combines the use of a tablet with augmented reality to allow professionals, in real time, to display, configure and customize a rendering of ceiling tiles. With the range of products and possible customizations, this app must be rich and complete but also handy and pleasant to use.

Our intervention

Because the project schedule was very tight and for optimal responsiveness we proposed an iterative and agile approach, in close collaboration with both the MOA and the MOE. We were inspired by the best practices of interaction on mobile support to obtain an easy to use interface.
